IFTA taps Hertzberg as chairman
The Independent Film & Television Alliance has drawn on Paul Hertzberg, Leader and Boss of CineTel Films, as chairman for any two-year term, changing Troma topper Lloyd Kaufman. The election occured Thursday included in IFTA's Annual People Meeting in the Beverly Hillsides Hotel and at the same time in the British Screen Advisory Council working in london. Kaufman walked lower after two terms. Hertzberg went unopposed. IFTA membership also re-chosen Pierre David, chairman and Boss of Imagination Worldwide, to vice chairperson and Summit professional Vice president Kaira Kembel to vice chairperson/secretary. Hertzberg, David and Kembel are also named towards the executive committee. People ongoing their two-year terms are Elisabeth Costa p Beauregard Rose of Lakeshore as Chairperson from the Export Alliance Richard Protector of Protector Entertainment as Vice Chairperson Nu Image topper Avi Lerner as Vice Chairperson/Finance and Mark Lindsay as Vice Chairperson. Chosen to 2-year terms around the board of company directors are Kaufman, Shaked Berenson of Epic Pictures Group, Carl Clifton of K5 Media Group, Roger Corman of recent Horizons Picture Corp., Myriad Pictures topper Kirk D'Amico, Albert Lee of Emperor Movies, Bobby Meyers of Meyers Film Entertainment, Kathy Morgan of Kathy Morgan Worldwide, Erectile dysfunction Noeltner of Cinema Management Group and Lise Romanoff of Vision Films. Ongoing around the board are Steve Bickel of Orpheum Communications, Nicolas Chartier of Current Pictures, Mark Damon of Experience Limitless, Clay Epstein from the Little Film Company, Tatyana Joffe of IM Global, Tony Kandah of Hollywood Wizard, John O'Shea from the Exchange, Wendy Reeds of Tiger Gate, Mimi Steinbauer of Hyde Park Worldwide and Lisa Wilson of GK Films.
